eCommerce Performance Case Study: Rockport

Challenge

The Rockport Group has very sophisticated websites that run on Salesforce Commerce Cloud and deliver rich customer experiences including many high-resolution images and third party technologies. While these images and third parties are essential to creating engaging online experiences for the company’s shoppers, they also had been slowing down web page load times resulting in increased bounce rates.

Solution

In order to improve site performance and decrease bounce rates, Rockport ran a trial with the Yottaa eCommerce Acceleration Platform. At the end of the trial Rockport’s site performance improved dramatically: average page load times were reduced by 5 seconds. Most importantly, through Yottaa Rockport was able to increase revenue per session 2.3%.
